Intuitive Design: Fool-proofing products.

This short project focused on the need for clear communication in all parts of the design process, but especially in the final product. Given the action word "pull," I was instructed to create a form that would encourage the user to do exactly that!

Concept Ideation

Initially, I was fueled by a drive to create something functional; I wanted to design something to be used by the end-consumer (in this case, a drawer). However, I quickly realized that before a product's purpose can be developed, the "how-to" questions must be answered. Therefore, I decided on a direction that focused more on the action itself, rather than a specific functionality.

Form Development Timeline

This project was concluded with a development timeline, in order to communicate the student's design process and effectively showcase the reasoning behind the final product.
